Superstar Afrobeats singer David Adeleke professionally known as Davido has taken to social media to send strong warning to a popular local Nigerian blog identifed as Instablog9ja for attaching his name to a kidnapping post so as to mislead people.
It all began when a video surfaced online showing three kidnappers, including their leader, nicknamed “Davido,” being apprehended by residents of Victory Estate in Ago Palace, Lagos State.
A viral post on X, formerly Twitter, captured the incident, showing the suspects seated on the ground while residents interrogated them.
During the interrogation, one of the kidnappers identified himself as Ifeanyi from Anambra State, while the alleged leader confirmed his nickname, saying, “Davido is my nickname. I came to kidnap.” The other two suspects stated they were from Kwara and Imo states.

However, Instagblog9ja while reporting to content on the social media pages wrote; “Davido and two others apprehended for kidnapping in Lagos.”

However, this development did not sit well with Davido who is the most followed Nigerian artiste on social media. He sends stern warning to local blog Instablog9ja uttering that his Karma will soon hit them so hard.
The “Unavailable” hitmaker wrote; “One day go be one day, continue, my karma no dey always tey.”
