Nollywood actor and filmmaker Kanayo Kanayo has preached to his thousands of fans against depending on anyone.
Taking to his Instagram page to share a photo of him on a movie set, he admonished the public not to depend too much on anyone in this world. Explaining why, he said even one’s shadow leaves when you are in darkness.

In July, Kanayo addressed entitled Nigerians who lack the attitude of being grateful. He questioned why people are so ungrateful as he pondered on why someone would send another money, and they would reply with a text saying, “Seen’. Calling it inheritance mentality, he stated that gratitude unspoken was indirectly ingratitude spoken.
In another post, Kanayo sent a deep message to the public. The legendary actor admonished his fans and followers never to accept offers that come with disrespect, no matter how broke they were.
Some months back, Kanayo had admonished workers to take their first salary to their fathers for blessings and not their pastors.
He made this known as he tackled a clergyman who said the first Salaries of the year belonged to him, questioning if he ever considered how the person would feed and transport themselves to and from for the month.
