Veteran Nollywood actress Toyin Adegbola shared her views on divorce and infidelity in marriage during an Instagram Live session.
Adegbola expressed that infidelity alone should not be a sufficient reason for divorce and advised women against leaving their marriages solely due to their husbands’ problematic behavior.
Toyin Adegbola emphasized the challenges divorcees may encounter when seeking remarriage, urging women to endure and develop coping mechanisms within their marriages.
She even suggested considering unconventional solutions, such as providing condoms to unfaithful husbands, as part of her recommendations for coping with infidelity.
She said; “No matter how bad your husband is, don’t ever leave his house because in future you will beg him when the children have important events to do. If you leave, you will not see any single man to marry you and you will be cheating with another person’s husband. Sit down in your husband’s house and always advise him to protect himself while he cheats. Just be begging and buying condoms for him if he’s cheating.”
