Stanley stirred emotions when he shared a deeply touching video of one of Junior Pope’s sons at the actor’s funeral. The clip showed the young boy inconsolable, crying out “No” as the undertakers were about to bury his father.
The caption on the video read: “This moment brings back memories of my late parents. Junior Pope’s son couldn’t hold back his tears and screamed ‘No’ as they began burying his father.”
In his own emotional response, Stanley shared his grief, writing: “We can never forget today, Junior Pope. We miss you so much. Who could do this? Swag Nation, Nwa Ukehe, Enugu State. Keep resting in the Lord’s embrace.”
In a similar vein, Junior Pope’s widow, Jennifer Awele, penned a heartfelt tribute, reflecting on the painful year since his tragic passing. She admitted that the year had been filled with sorrow and a sense of uncertainty.
Reports by GistLover revealed that Junior Pope, along with four others, tragically lost their lives in a boat accident on the Anam River in Anambra State on April 10, 2024. The group had been returning from a movie set produced by Adanma Luke. The accident sparked outrage across social media, with many criticizing the lack of safety measures during the production.
