The controversy surrounding the paternity of late Nigerian singer Mohbad’s son, Liam, has taken another dramatic turn as the singer’s father, Joseph Aloba, has made a strong statement regarding his legal actions against Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi.

In a recent interview that has sparked widespread reactions on social media, Aloba insisted that even if the DNA test results confirm that Liam is indeed Mohbad’s biological son, he will still proceed with legal action against Wunmi.

According to him, his reasons go beyond just confirming paternity but Wunmi’s negligence with Liam.

He said he would sue her because he couldn’t understand why they were taking a five-month-old boy to shows where there were many weed smokers. He added that he recently saw that they took him to Ibadan.

He further emphasized that he has never seen the nurse who injected Mohbad on the day he died.

He said that DNA was very important and that his major concerns were finding out what killed Mohbad and whether the child he left behind was his grandson. He emphasized that he was not interested in properties.

He pleaded with the government for help, stating that he was tired and did not know what else to do. He also questioned why, after two years, there were still no answers about the death, pointing out that even if it was the nurse, there were cameras inside and outside the house.

He further inquired about forensic investigations and reiterated his plea for help, saying he no longer knew what to do.

In his words, “I knew nothing about Mohbad’s d3ath. When my son passed, Wunmi was the first person I asked questions because she’s his wife, Even if DNA proves that Liam is my grandson, I will sue her because how can they be taking a 5 month old boy to shows where there are lots of w33d smok3rs. Recently, I saw that they took him to Ibadan.”

“I knew there was a nurse but I didn’t see her. DNA is very very important. My major concerns now is what killed Mohbad and if the child he left behind is my grandson, you won’t see me asking about properties. Help me beg the government because I’m tired, I don’t know what else to do. For 2 years now, someone that died in the house, even if its the nurse atleast there’s camera inside and outside the house. What about Forensic? Please help me, I don’t know what to do anymore.”
