Grace has finally found the old man captured in a viral video, as Nigerian professional footballer Victor Boniface gifted him a substantial amount of N1.5 million.
The elderly man became a trending topic online when a good Samaritan shared a touching video of him struggling while carrying out his carpentry job. The video went viral, leading many to contribute towards giving the man a chance at a better life.
Boniface and skit maker Sabinus had launched a search for the old man, with Sabinus even promising to give N1 million. However, Boniface, who plays as a striker for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, reached out to the young man who shared the video.
Boniface sent a total of N2 million, asking that the elderly man be given N1.5 million and the boy who posted the video receive N500,000 for his help. This act has melted the hearts of many, who applauded Boniface for his kindness. The receipt of the payment was shared online, further highlighting his generosity.
