Nigerian filmmaker and actress. Wumi Toriola has broken the record by outpacing her colleague Funke Akindele at the box office.
Wumi Toriola said a short while ago that her viral film, which is presently being viewed on giant screens throughout Nigeria, has earned an astounding 100 million and some Naira.
The movie became the highest opening movie for a non holiday film and highest by a distributor.
Sharing the news on her official social media page, Wumi Toriola expressed how thrilled and grateful she is to her incredible fans who helped her achieved the feat.
The mother of one further begged Nigerians to stream the movie with promises that they would not regret the experience.
