A new video is making the rounds across social media platforms that shows the moment Wizkid prostrates to greet singer LAX mom as he pays the billionaire wife a surprise visit.
Wizkid, the “Essence” crooner is presently in Lagos Nigeria to shoot the music video of his hit song “Kese (Dance) off his last album Morayo and by extension decided to suprise singer LAX mother.
Recall that In 2013, L.A.X signed a major-label deal with Starboy Entertainment, owned by Nigerian artist Wizkid. Their collaboration on the song “Caro” gained significant attention and marked L.A.X’s entry into the Nigerian music industry.
Singer LAX whose real name is Damilola Abdul Razaq Afolabi, is the son of Taiwo Afolabi, a Nigerian business magnate and lawyer. Taiwo Afolabi is the founder and CEO of SIFAX Group, a conglomerate with interests in maritime, aviation, haulage, hospitality, financial services, and oil and gas.
Taiwo Afolabi, born on April 29, 1962, in Ondo State, Nigeria, is a respected figure in the Nigerian business community. He holds an LL.B. in Law from the University of Lagos and has been recognized for his contributions to various industries in Nigeria.
In the clip, Wizkid who dressed in a white native sat down on the chair and when LAX steps down from the staircase, Wizkid says the slang “Mama niyen” and went ahead to prostrate for his his colleague mother and the mother joy knows no bound as she did not see Wizkid coming after seeing each other for a quite long time now.
Wizkid and singer LAX mother exchange a warm hug and the latter was later spotted beside Wizkid praying so hard for the singer’s success in the entertainment industry.
