A lady has become a trending conversation online following a new video of her flaunting her prowess when her mother-in-law asks her to showcase her cooking skills.
It a common tradition in Africa for mother-in-law to check the cooking skills of the wife her son is bringing home and a perfect example is the video making the rounds online.
The video that has sparked massive reactions among social media was accompanied with the caption; “When Mother-in-law asks you to showcase your cooking skills.”
While many women feared the heat during cooking, this time was different. The heat seemed to lose its braveness when the lady started cooking Semovita alongside her mother-in-law.
During her visit to her mother-in-law, the lady was seen cooking Semovita the traditional way, using firewood and other crude materials.
However, the part that raises eyebrows where many said her bride price should be doubled was the moment she used her bare hands to turn a heavy semovita which is under high heat and pressure during cooking.
