Veteran Yoruba actor Monsuru Ijayegbemi has talked about some of the difficulties he has encountered in his career as a filmmaker. He also mentioned how his inability to pay his rent at the time was a result of his lack of financial resources.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Feelrightnews TV during an interview, he disclosed that he ran away from the house and left his wife and children because he could not afford to pay their house rent.
In his statement, he said, “I borrowed one of my colleagues money to produce a movie, and when it was time to collect my money from him, he absconded with the money. I produced a movie in the year 2000, and when it was sold out, the marketer did not give me any money, and from that moment, I started thinking of quitting film making because I was frustrated. I ran away from the house and left my wife and kids when I couldn’t pay our house rent. I later returned to the house when my wife called me that she found a means to pay the house rent.”
In another post Yul Edochie has given his two cents on DNA tests.

“Any woman who refuses to do DNA tests on her child when it is demanded is hiding something.
Don’t fall for any excuse she gives to you.
She is hiding something.
A clear conscience fears nothing”.
