Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has made history once again with her latest film, “Everybody Loves Jenifa”
The movie has earned a whopping sum of 206 Million Naira at the Nigerian box office in just 2 days, making it the fastest Nollywood movie to achieve this feat.
It has also become the highest-grossing Nollywood movie of all time, with earnings still counting, and has made Funke Akindele the highest-grossing Nollywood director of all time.
Despite the hike in movie ticket prices, the average cost is N6000. Yet, Nigerians went out in their numbers to watch Funke Akindele’s latest effort, ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa,’ and set a new record.
Funke, widely regarded as the Queen of the Nigerian box office, outdid herself again on Saturday, as she set a new record as usual.
This is according to a new report by Box Office Nigeria and Filmhouse Cinema Distribution on Saturday.
The beautiful actress was filled with joy and appreciation to her fans.
