Veteran Nollywood actor and president of Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria, TAMPAN, Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin has accepted peace as forgives Nkechi Blessing.
A few hours ago, Nkechi Blessing knelt to acknowledge her errors to the TAMPAN publicly. She sought the forgiveness of the leaders and pleaded that her ban in the industry be lifted.
A video that found its way on social media captured the moment Mr Latin hugged Nkechi Blessing to end the over three years beef and ban.
Taking to Instagram, the veteran actor commended Nkechi Blessing’s courage for going public with the apology. He also welcomed her to the TAMPAN group.
“I commend and admire your courage.. welcome on board!!!”
Since the video emerged online, there have been positive remarks about Nkechi Blessing’s apology which many find humble and courageous.
Nollywood actor Damola Olatunji has expressed pride in Nkechi Blessing and acknowledged her humility and courage.
Olatunji stated that it took courage for the actress to apologise for her wrongs, and he loves her for doing so. At the same time, he warmly welcomed Nkechi Blessing to the TAMPAN association.
Hitgist recalls that in 2021, Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo openly condemned the conduct of Baba Ijesha for allegedly defiling the foster daughter of Nigerian comedienne Princess, which the association wasn’t pleased with.
They had also clashed with some TAMPAN members, such as Yomi Fabiyi and Lege Maimi, who kicked against them for openly condemning Baba Ijesha.
In punishment for their online drama, veteran actor Jide Kosoko took action against them and barred directors in the association from working with them.
Nkechi Blessing reacted by mocking the association’s decision, stating they threatened to frustrate people who could feed their entire generation until the end. She went on to call the association one of lawlessness.
