In a recent video, Wizkid’s first mother, Shola Ogudu, disclosed that she had no idea she was five months pregnant with the musician “Essence”‘s child.
When Shola Ogudu appeared as a guest on the 12th and last episode of Mums Next Door season 1, which was presented by reality TV personality Maria Chike Benjamin, she made this known to everyone.
Boluwatife Balogun, Wizkid’s first child, is currently 13 years old as of 2024. According to her mother Shola Ogudu, she became pregnant during her last year of college at a university in the Benin Republic.
Shola Ogudu further explained that she only realized she was pregnant at five months old, and when she confirmed the pregnancy, her belly began to protrude significantly, stressing that she has no symptoms.
She added that she was still going to school until she was 8 months and 2 weeks. She concluded that despite being pregnant in her final year, she graduated with good grades.
