Bishop David Oyedepo the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, recently captivated his congregation with a thought-provoking example of his inability to withdraw cash from an ATM.
Speaking during the 3rd Pre-Shiloh Encounter and Anointing Service, shared on the church’s official Facebook page, Oyedepo delivered a powerful message about the importance of understanding spiritual principles to access the abundant blessings God has prepared.
He passionately explained that many believers, despite being close to God’s resources, struggle to access them due to a lack of knowledge or failure to apply essential spiritual keys, including unwavering faith, persistent prayer, and wholehearted obedience.
Bishop David Oyedepo brought his message to a relatable level by humorously admitting his detachment from modern banking technology.
Using his inability to operate an ATM as a striking analogy, he explained that just as he cannot withdraw money without understanding how the machine works, many believers remain spiritually blocked from accessing God’s blessings because they fail to understand or apply the spiritual principles necessary to unlock them.
His words;
“Some people bank account number is heavy with Jesus. But they don’t know how to withdraw. They don’t know the ATM pin.
If you lock me up in ATM room today, I can’t press it. I don’t know how to operate it and I’m not planning to learn it.”
