Oluseyi Aletile, also known as Seyi Law, a Nigerian comedian, has reacted to allegations of being a cultists.
According to reports, an X user uploaded a video of some men dancing at a party, alleging that Seyi Law is one of them and the top member of a cult group known as Eiye.
The X user also claimed that nearly everyone in the Southwest is a member of the cult group.
The post stated, “So @seyilaw1 na supreme Eiye member. Almost everybody na Eiye for SouthWest.”
In response to the post, Seyi Law, who was not in the viral video, expressed hope that if he takes action against the netizen, Nigerians would not label it as oppression.
He wrote, “I hope that when I take action now, people won’t call it oppression.”
Meanwhile, Seyi Law has recently secured a political appointment, garnered attention with his online post on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
Seyi Law, an advocate of the All Progressive Congress, took to Elon Musk’s platform, X, to address President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his message.
Based on previous posts on Twitter, Seyi Law expressed his gratitude for the significant efforts of the president following his success in the 2023 general elections.
He conveyed his appreciation for the president’s actions in “curbing the exchange rate arbitrage that was benefiting the masses.”
Seyi Law wrote in parts:
“Asiwaju, thank you for stopping the exchange rate arbitrage that was enriching a few of us and the fuel subsidy. Now, let’s get more policies that will better our lives at the grassroots. Your Excellency, forget about those sponsoring the protest and engage your young population in dialogue. You can’t afford to fail.”
