A Nigerian husband has sparked conversations online after boasting about how self-sufficient his wife has been throughout their 20-year marriage.
In a viral video making the rounds on social media, the man expressed gratitude for marrying a responsible woman who never troubled him with financial demands for personal upkeep.
In the clip, the proud husband revealed that since they tied the knot two decades ago, he has never had to buy body cream or any skincare products for his wife
According to him, she has always managed her finances wisely, taking care of herself without putting pressure on him. He described his wife as a simple woman that made things easier for him, applauding her for not being the demanding type.
In his words, “20 years of marriage, I can’t remember buying cream like that. Once we catch one big bottle of verseline, the whole family will be swimming inside. We are covered. You know, there are those small small things but they can put pressure, she’s not that type. She makes things easier for ma. She’s not a demanding type. She is a simple woman, which has made things very easy for me.”
The video also showed the moment his wife appreciated him for being her husband and a godly man.
