Former Marlian record Disc Jockey DJ Splash, who reportedly went mad, has revealed that he missed his boss and singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley
DJ Splash, whose real name is Matthew Aderoju, expressed his longing for Naira Marley in his recent interview with popular content creator Akin Abolade also known as Mrlilgaga.
Refreshing memory. the young disc jockey was said to have lost his mind while working with Naira Marley and he was neglected by the Marlian records because of his mental illness. According to reports, people accused Naira Marley off allegedly giving hard substances that made him land in a Mental Facility
DJ Splash’s health issues went viral amid the quest for justice for Mohbad, another former Marlian signee who tragically passed away. He shared his story during a conversation with actress Iyabo Ojo, who visited his family house on September 19.
However, DJ Splash, who looked so hale and hearty in the interview, cleared the air about his mental illness and what transpired between him and Naira Marley. He also stated how Iyabo Ojo came through for him.
Firstly, he clarified his health issues, stating that although he became seriously ill, he was never mentally unstable and recovered with the help of the movie star.
He also revealed that Naira Marley has always been a good boss to him but he felt betrayed after the ‘Soapy’ crooner and Marlian team members did not check up on him when he was sick despite working with them for four years.
According to DJ Splash, he introduced Mohbad to Naira Marley.
In his words, “I miss Naira Marley, I didn’t run M*d, but something happened to me sha from inside, Mohbad Met Naira Marley Through Me, Naira Marley is My G, Mummy Iyabo Ojo was there for me all through out my Ordeal”.
