Helen Loveth, an Enugu-based woman who gave a false testimony about acquiring a N500 million house at Evangelist Ebuka Obi’s Zion Ministry, has broken her silence after the incident.
In a recent interview, the embattled Loveth revealed that she gave the testimony in faith, hoping to own such a luxurious mansion someday.
During a service at the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, she claimed that divine intervention enabled her to purchase the luxurious property. However, investigations revealed that her testimony was fabricated, leading to her arrest by the police.
In response to the incident, Evangelist Ebuka Obi distanced himself and his ministry from Loveth’s claims, stating that neither he nor his congregation had prior knowledge of her. He emphasized that if her testimony was false, the deceit was against God and the church’s altar, not his ministry.
However, the lady publicly confessed that she is not the owner of the N500 million mansion but she is still processing on buying the mansion and has not concluded the payment.
In her words, “It’s true that I said I own a house at WTC estate but I’m still processing on buying the mansion but I’ve not concluded the payment. I did not build it. I’ve checked everything needed and have met with the agent. He told us to meet the landlord. The house is not mine now but it will be.”
