Popular TikToker, Afeez Ojesanmi, better known as Salo Oloba has relived the moment he escaped death after being shot three times by hired killers in Lekki.
This comes weeks after reports hit the internet on October 10, 2024, that popular skit maker Salo was shot by some men armed with guns and landed in a Lagos hospital to receive intense treatment. It was gathered that Salo underwent a major surgery worth N12 million in order to revive his life.
Following his comeback on social media, Salo revealed that the killers initially aimed to shoot him in the head but ran out of bullets. During a live session with his fans, the TikToker stated that he thought it was a skit after he was shot the first time on his body, as he was still able to talk and groan in pain. He didn’t realize that the killers had come for his life.
Narrating his fearful experience, he revealed that the incident began when he stopped at a spot to have drinks and later headed to meet someone who had promised him a million naira. While on his way, he encountered a group of individuals who claimed to know him from Ibadan and even addressed him by his real name.
It was at this moment he realized he was being trailed by people intent on taking his life. He explained that one of the assailants approached him, demanding he remove his chain.
Salo added that after raising the money, he was placed on oxygen and underwent surgery. However, the hospital later demanded an additional N20 million.
Salo narrated how singer Zlatan Ibile came to his aid after he was shot by hired killers. He praised Zlatan for the kind gesture.
He revealed that the singer contributed N3 million towards his medical bills after a Lekki hospital demanded N12 million before starting treatment.
