Nollywood actress Tokunbo Latona has disclosed one of the reasons she has opted to quit making appearances in movies recently In addition to discussing how her marriage to her spouse in the UK has impacted her filmmaking profession.

In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Kunleafod TV during an interview, she disclosed that she stopped acting movies because her husband insisted that she relocate to United Kingdom with him.

In her statement, she said, “I left Nigeria in the year 2014, and the last movie I did was in 2015. I stopped acting movies when my husband insisted that I must move to the UK with him.

I got married in the year 2014, and my husband stays in the UK, so I did my last movie in the UK in 2015, but since then I have not produced any movies.”

Latona and her husband faced numerous emotional and physical challenges in their pursuit of parenthood. “It was a long journey,” she expressed with deep feeling. “We tried for 10 years, and it wasn’t easy. We underwent IVF, and I had to go through 250 injections, but I consider myself incredibly lucky that the first attempt was successful.”
