Adekunle Gold had some good news to share on Instagram recently, and it was in relation to his album Vol.1, which he released a few years ago.
In his post, Adekunle Gold wrote;
”Four years ago today, I took the biggest leap of my career and created Afro Pop Vol 1.
It was a journey filled with fear and uncertainty, but it transformed my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined.
Today, I am deeply grateful for taking that risk and believing in my vision. Thank you for supporting this beautiful piece of art so much. All my love. What are your favorite songs from Afro Pop Vol. 1?”
Adekunle Gold got a lot of support from fans, as they took to the comments to share their thoughts on the four-year anniversary of Vol.1 the album.

The Vol.1 album created a huge shift in Adekunle Gold’s career, as he gained a broader fan base.
This album sounded different from his other works, and he also switched up his appearance, as he leaned more into alternative fashion.
