Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola recently addressed the possibility of reconciling with her former spouse, months after announcing the end of their marriage.
During an appearance on the Goldroom talk show with her colleague Iyabo Ojo, Wumi opened up about her personal life.
The mother of one expressed her desire to have more children, possibly one or two, emphasizing that she wants to have them with one man. While hinting at a potential reconciliation with her ex, Wumi chose not to elaborate further on the matter.
Hitgist recalls that Wumi Toriola confirmed that her marriage to the father of her son had crashed after barely three years.
The actress while reflecting on 2022, revealed she walked away from a domestic violent and abusive relationship for her sanity’s sake.
Her ex-husband on his part, had something contrary to say, as he claimed that their marriage was filled with violence, deceit, and betrayal on Wumi Toriola’s part. Describing his marriage as a total regret, he further alleged that Wumi physically assaulted his mother.
Addressing his allegations, Wumi Toriola in a lengthy post on her Instagram page debunked the report, stating that she has never been physical with her mother-in-law or her mother and she had witnesses to back her up.
Recall that Wumi Toriola found love with Nollywood actor, Eso Dike, during a movie shoot. Their viral engagement photo stirred mixed reactions with many trying to acknowledge the actress ‘ engagement with her ‘lover’.
Eso Dike who shared the photo online cheered to their forever, while Wumi Toriola appreciated Eso Dike for being selfless , and also cheered to their union, aiming for a ‘forever’.
