Social media activist Vincent Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, has responded to people criticizing him for hanging out with singer Naira Marley and his signee Zinoleesky at a nightclub.
Recall that Naira Marley and Zinoleesky found themselves in controversy surrounding the tragic passing of ex-Marlian artist Mohbad. Many hold them responsible for the singer’s death.
Naira Marley was arrested alongside his associate Sam Larry over Mohbad’s death before they were later released. Verydarkman had also repeatedly lashed out at actress Iyabo Ojo and Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, over the late singer.
However, Verydarkman shared a video of himself having fun with Marley and Zinowhile vibing to songs played in the background. Hours after the clip went viral, netizens took to social media to lash out at the activist for partying with Marley and Zino.
In response, The social media influencer shared on his Instastory that Mohbad’s case was closed, adding that people’s emotions about his death allowed those who knew the truth to hide it.
Verydarkman stated that he would not be influenced by popular opinion and emphasized that he stands firmly for the truth.
He wrote, “Mohbad case don end make una no vex, na una sentiment give the real people when know wetin do the boy passage to hide the truth… Just like I warned so it has happened, Mohbad will never get justice. As a ratel I will stand for the real truth, not the crowd truth.”
