Popular Nigerian singer Portable has sparked a feud with the people of Ibadan, urging them to stay out of Lagos if they don’t want him in their state.

The statement, shared in a post that quickly went viral on X (formerly Twitter), has stirred widespread reactions online.

This is coming after singer Portable was stopped from performing at Fuji singer Taye Currency show in Ibadan over his viral POP ceiling statement.

In the post, the singer voiced his frustrations, declaring that if Ibadan residents want to escalate the issue into a conflict, he is ready to face it.

He went on to state that if they no longer want him in Ibadan, then residents of Ibadan living in Lagos should also pack up and leave.

His statement read: “If it’s fight, let’s do it. You don’t like us anymore, and we don’t like you either. If I shouldn’t come to Ibadan again, all Ibadan people must go.”

He continued, “All Ibadan people in Lagos, pack your things and go. Ibadan must leave Lagos. If you tell me not to come to Ibadan, then all of Ibadan in Lagos must go too.”
