Nigerian singer Naira Marley, born Azeez Fashola, shared an Islamic teaching with his fans, particularly those observing Ramadan.

The holy fasting period began on Friday, February 28, 2025, as Muslims worldwide seek Allah’s blessings.

Naira Marley highlighted an Islamic rule stating that if someone accidentally eats or drinks while fasting, their fast remains valid.

Reports suggest that Naira Marley’s statement is based on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.

The controversial music executive urged Muslims not to be too hard on themselves if they accidentally break their fast.

He further encouraged them to continue fasting for the rest of the day.

Naira Marley wrote; “If somebody eats or drinks forgetfully, then he should complete his fast, for what he has eaten or drunk was given to him by Allah.”
