Popular Nigerian singer Tekno has taken to social media to debunk the viral video rumours of him collapsing on stage during a performance in South Africa.
The rumor mill has been in overdrive since a video surfaced, allegedly showing the ‘Pana’ hitmaker being supported by security operatives in a frantic attempt to revive him after he reportedly collapsed during a performance in South Africa.
The clip, which has rapidly spread online, has ignited a frenzy among fans and observers, flooding social media with concern and speculation.
Reacting to the viral video of him, Tekno via his verified Instagram page today, August 20th 2024 says that he is hale and hearty while stressing that he is not the one inside the video,
He added that he is presently not in South Africa and wished the person who collapsed in the video a quick recovery.
Tekno wrote; “Hey guys, I’m hale and hearty and not currently in South Africa. I hope whoever that was in the video is doing well and ok. Thank you guys. Love you.”
