Popular financial coach based in Delta state Emmanuel Obrutse, better known as Geh Geh has stated that Nigerian women date for money nowadays.

Geh Geh, known for his controversial remarks online, made this known during his recent interview with the honest brunch podcast, where he warned men against getting married.

According to the Urhobo man, modern-day ladies have turned relationships into a means of livelihood, unlike the women of his father’s generation who married for different values.

Geh Geh revealed that in his father’s era, women were responsible for farming, working, and providing for their husbands and children, while men focused on maintaining authority and ensuring the protection of their households.

He, however, stated that ladies are now after money and billing men before even getting married to them.

In his words, “In my father’s era, na women dey work for the man, the wives will go to the farm, work & provide for the man and the children. The man will just handle the authority and the protection..but now, Nigerian women just date for money, they see relationship as a form of employment.”
