Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has once again surpassed her own expectations and broken box office records With her latest film,
Funke Akindele’s dominance at the box office is no longer shocking. The mother of two has dominated the box office for three consecutive years.
Her films include Battle on Buka Street, Everybody Loves Jenifa, A Tribe Called Judah, and Omo Ghetto. The Saga occupy the top, second, and fourth places on the table, respectively.
Speaking of Akindele’s victory, Film One notified Nigerians that the film had raked over 783 million, making it the second highest-grossing movie in Nigeria.
Identifying Funke Akindele as a big one in the industry, they urged everyone to continue watching the movie.

Everybody Loves Jenifa is hitting it big this festive season! It has grossed over 783 million Naira at the box office. On Boxing Day alone, it made over 107 million Naira!

Recall also that Everybody Loves Jenifa hit over 100,000 dollars, making it the first Nigerian film to reach such a landmark.
A few weeks back, Funke had opened up about the hard times she had experienced before rising to stardom. She shared a video of herself being active on the set of her highest-grossing billion-dollar movie, A Trībe Called Judah, as she counted herself as a testimony of believing in herself, saying she faced different challenges but learned to stand tall and encourage others because of them.
A few hours ago, Funke Akindele reported that her movie has grossed one hundred and ninety four thousand, five hundred and sixty dollars in diaspora.
She attributed her success to the God, her cast, colleagues and fans for being true to her.
