A video is making the rounds on social media that shows the moment a financial expert identified as GehGeh calls out singer Rema for collecting N4.8Billion and not saying anything about it.
Recall on July 12th 2024, Intel Region reported that Rema reportedly received the sum of $3M approximately N4.5M to perform at India’s billionaire’s $600m wedding.
Over the weekend, prominent celebrities and leading politicians gathered in India’s second-largest city for the wedding of the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in Asia.
Anant Ambani, 29, ties the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Radhika Merchant, also 29, in what is being hailed as the wedding of the year, captivating attention with its extravagant display of wealth and glamour.
At the wedding, Rema performed hit song “Calm Down” within 10 minutes and was given the sum of N4.5billion, a development that becomes a trending conversation online.
Reacting to this, the financial expert claimed that Rema gets to where his today because of prayers bestowed on him by his Nigerian fans and he is supposed to give back to them stressing that people are really hungry in the country.
In his words; “Rema it is very wrong for you to keep The N4.8Billion ($3Million) the Indian Billionaire paid you to come and perform at his son’s wedding all to yourself remember it was the prayers of we Nigerians that took you to where you are in life today and not your Hardwork”
