The ongoing marital controversy surrounding Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has taken a new and unsettling twist, this time driven by artificial intelligence.
What began as a personal family matter has now escalated into an AI-fueled spectacle, dragging his estranged wife, May Edochie, and current partner, Judy Austin, into a digital battleground.
Hitgist previously reported that comedian AY Makun voiced his outrage on Tuesday, February 4, over a viral AI-generated video depicting him passionately k!ssing May Edochie.
The fabricated clip, which quickly went viral, sparked intense speculation, with many netizens accusing Yul Edochie and Judy Austin—or their so-called “camp”—of being behind the disturbing deepfake.
Just as the controversy began to die down, another AI-generated video surfaced, this time showing Judy Austin kneeling before a seated May Edochie.
The viral clip carried a caption suggesting that Judy was begging May for forgiveness, leading many to believe it was a retaliatory move allegedly orchestrated by May Edochie’s supporters in response to the earlier deepfake involving AY.
