The first child and daughter of Afrobeat legend star Fela Kuti, Yeni Kuti has berated veteran actress Ngozi Ezeonu for condemming some ladies with braless outfits.

Ngozi Ezeonu sparked outrages online after a video of her scolding the two ladies for showing up to her auditions without wearing a bra went viral online.

However, the actress’ moves with the lady drew attention from Yeni Kuti, who expressed her displeasure while discussing with her Co-hosts on the View show.

According to the former dancer and businesswoman, Ngozi has no business questioning the ladies over their outfits and she could have told the ladies that she does not accept people dressed like them.

Yeni further expressed that she doesn’t want to be a hypocrite, recalling how she used to dress as a young woman. She noted that many older people seem to have forgotten how they lived during their youth.

In her words, “I think that it wasn’t really any of her business, all she had to do was reject them, ‘I don’t want people who dress like you’, that’s all. Because she made a statement saying ‘even when I was your age…’, I don’t want to be a hypocrite because when I was that age… see as old people we forget what we did so when we are criticising the young people, I have forgotten what I did at 24 or 24, when my stomach was flat, I had six packs. If I wear that now, they will call me say ‘aunty this your belly, are you not ashamed to be showing it about?”

_richie_rachie said, “Madam Yeni you are so wrong, some older people didn’t get it right in their youthful days, and they are trying to correct it, let correct the wrong together and make the world a better place.”

tellarh said, “Saying gibberish to justify rubbish! These are the issues, smh🤦‍♂️.”

queeny_deroyale said, “Let’s assume she did it all sorts in her youth. But over the years, I think she has realized her wrongs and now against it. So what you guys want is that she should allow you people to make your own mistakes. Experience isn’t always the best teacher but learning from other people’s mistakes could save you from doom. I tire for you guys.”

balo_ng said, “This is the problem, the people that’s suppose to advice the younger ones by telling them the truth are the ones encouraging it 🤷🏾.”

nabasaenid said, “True, first inquire why one is not even wearing a bra, what if it’s for medical reasons. Secondly they have a right to privacy, wonder if the recording was intentional. You can also give an opinion without imposing it on someone. Clearly state it in your call for audition, so that people know the dos and don’ts.”
