Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) has expressed his views on polygamy, supporting its legitimacy.
During a recent appearance on the show Curiosity Made Me Ask, hosted by Isbae U, RMD stated that he believes it is unfair for a man to have only one wife.
According to RMD, his father married five wives.
“I don’t have idea of how many women want me. I feel it’s unfair to be married to one woman”, She stated.
He also shared details about his educational journey, revealing that he studied Theatre and Media Arts at the University of Benin (UNIBEN) and went on to earn two law degrees from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Isbae U, whose real name is Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi, recently hosted RMD on an episode of his YouTube series Curiosity Made Me Ask. However, the interview took an awkward turn when the 30-year-old content creator repeatedly referred to the 63-year-old actor simply as “Richard,” a move many viewers found disrespectful.
RMD, clearly unimpressed by the informal address, called out Isbae U during the show, leading to widespread reactions across social media.
