A Nigerian lady who defied her husband from travelling abroad has finally shared her own side of story, sparking widespread reactions online.
The woman, who is a mother of three kids, became viral sensation online after she created a scene at Lagos Airport on Saturday as she tore up her husband’s international passport shortly after their arrival from abroad.
The act, seen by many as vandalism of government property, ignited public outrage and prompted calls for legal action. She could be heard responding in rage when asked why she tore her husband’s passport.
Her actions elicited discussions online as social media users expressed their contempt. Many berated the woman for being harsh on her husband.
However, the woman stated the reasons for her actions in a new video, revealing that her husband has been causing her heart pain and headache in their marriage of many years.
According to her, she has been condoning him and decided to pay him back at the Nigerian airport.
In her words, “I Tore My Husband’s Passport Because I Dont Want My Husband to Go Back Abroad, I Have been going through so much Pain in this my Marriage for years, You all don’t know what I am Passing Through, So Many Women are also Going through pains in their own Marriage and Cannot Speak out”.
