Controversial entertainer and Nigerian disc jockey DJ Chicken, whose real name is Oluwamayowa Adeyanju, has taken to his TikTok handle to scold hypeman God Over Everything (GOE) for squandering N20 million singer Wizkid gifted to him.
In 2024, Adeshina Taiwo, popularly known as God Over Everything, grabbed headlines when he received an astonishing N20 million gift from the Essence crooner for hyping him and creating a viral track in his honor.
Months later, the hypeman stirred widespread reactions online when he bitterly revealed that the N20 million gift had dwindled to just N20,000
Recently, GOE took to Instagram and ranted bitterly, stating that his friends have abandoned him after lavishing the money gift.
He wrote, “Back then, when Wizkid gave me N20 million, everyone suddenly wanted to be my friend. People brought their cars to take me out, and we spent the money together. But now that the money is gone, none of those people are around anymore.”
His recent lamentations took over the social media pages as netizens speculated that the Hypeman wants another huge sum of money from Wizkid, who had reportedly welcomed a baby girl with Jada P.
DJ Chicken, known for his bold persona, berated GOE for mismanaging the N20 million given to him on a platter of gold.
According to the DJ, he has been shouting Wizkid’s name for years yet he did not receive any money.
In his words, “You want to collect another one, me that has been shouting Wizkid for years; he didn’t give me anything.”
