Popular actress and daughter of Nollywood movie star Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo has tied the knot with her Tanzanian lover, Juma Jux, in a breathtaking Islamic wedding ceremony, known as Nikkah, in Tanzania.
The event which took place on Friday, February 7 was graced by the likes of Iyabo Ojo, social media influencer and Priscilla’s best friend Enioluwa, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platinumz and his wife.
Recall that Priscilla Ojo opened up on her relationship with Tanzanian R&B sensation Juma Jux for months. Their romance first caught the public’s attention when they were spotted together at several luxury events and vacations.
In September 2024, Iyabo Ojo confirmed Priscilla’s official engagement to Juma Jux. The actress had also hinted the wedding would be taking place at different venues both in Tanzania and Nigeria.
The wedding was nothing short of spectacular, as Priscilla Ojo embraced the Islamic traditions, dazzling in an elegant gold-embroidered bridal gown with turban, while Juma Jux looked regal in his Jalabia.
Several videos and photos from the event have surfaced online, showing Priscilla Ojo beaming with joy as she exchanged vows with her Tanzanian heartthrob.
The bride’s mother, Iyabo Ojo, was also seen with smiles all over her face as she struck poses for pictures.
The Islamic wedding seems to be the first, as fans and followers of the Nollywood actress’ anticipate when the ceremony will also take place in the country.
