Nigerian music superstar, Ibrahim Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has taken a moment to remember and honor his late mother Jane Dolapo Morayo on the first anniversary of her passing.
On the anniversary of his mother’s death, Wizkid took to social media to express his feelings, sharing a white love and emoji that reflected his enduring love and respect for her.
The ‘Essence’ crooner has often expressed how deeply painful it was for him to lose her, and how he wishes she were still alive. She passed away on August 18, 2023, and her family honored her with a befitting burial.
Video showing her funeral ceremony, which took place at Redeemed Christian Church of God on the 13th of October, was spread while celebrating her one year anniversary.
