Kunle Afolayan treats veteran, Jide Kosoko and his son to a sumptuous meal at his film village, pledges support for veteran’s new project (Video)

Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has received a first class treatment from filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan.

The veteran and his son, Tunde Kosoko, had paid a visit to Kunle’s film village, where they were well-received. Jide had shared a video of him and his son being treated to a delicious lunch by Kunle himself.

An overwhelmed Jide stated that he enjoyed every bit of his stay with him.

“My son Tunde Kosoko and I were treated with supper delicious Launch at Afefeyeye yesterday by Kunle Afolayan himself. Honestly, I enjoyed every bit of my stay in KAP”.

In another post, Jide reveal that Kunle had pledged support for his upcoming movie, Esugbayi Eleko.

A few days back, Kosoko had also visited his colleague, Dele Odule’s film village. He revealed in an Instagram post that he and his team visited Oru Ijebu to inspect some of the costumes to be used for his new movie, and Dele, who is the owner of the costumes, took him around his Ile Asa complex. Jide stated that the complex was built to redefine the arts and culture sub-sector and Dele built it.

Expressing pride in Dele Odule, Jide stated that he can’t wait for the complex to be completed and be in full operation.

In December, last year, Kosoko, alongside Adebayo Salami, bagged Honorary Doctorate Degrees in Theatre and Media Arts from Achievers Networks Academy, UK. The veterans were lauded for their enduring legacy, having shaped the Nollywood industry into the powerhouse it is today through their unforgettable roles, mentoring of younger talents, and commitment to promoting African culture.

The veteran was officially conferred as the head of his royal family at Oteniya branch. Following the appointment, he was presented to the Oloriebi in Council and wass also re-confirmed as the official Ambassador of the Family. The veteran prayed for wisdom to contribute his quota to the unity and progress of the Family.
