Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Michael Adebayo Olayinka, professionally known as Ruger, recently revealed on social media what he would like to inherit from Wizkid.
In the post shared via his verified page on X, Ruger said that he would like to inherit Wizkid fan base known as Wizkid FC if the singer decided not to do music again because they are the most loyal fan base he has ever seen.
This reaction from Ruger comes following the difference between his new song “Toma Toma” and Wizkid new song “Dance” on Nigeria Apple music chart.
The new song “Dance” by Wizkid off the Morayo album makes history as it becomes the fastest song to rich number one on Apple Music and Spotify Chart.
While Wizkid song “Dance” maintains number one spot, Ruger song struggled so hard as it found himself on the number 13 on the apple music.
However, Ruger gives thanks to Wizkid fan base for the love shown to him stressing that being on number 13 is his biggest Day 1 stream since he breaks into prominence.
Taking to his X page on Twitter, Ruger wrote; “Omo see as FC Dey do 1 kese, 1 toma toma 😭😭 we Dey number 13 now for Apple Music 🙏🏾.”
He added; “Got my biggest first day stream yesterday 😭😭 I’m not going to Jupiter again I have missed my NASA flight on purpose eshey gan #tomatoma.”
Sending message to Wizkid, Ruger wrote; @wizkidayo if you ever decide not to do music again, and Zion no wan do music sef, pls wrote my name RUGER as the person to inherit your fanbase in your music will.”
