Nigerian actor, painter, and reality TV star most popularly known for his appearance on Big Brother Naija, Saga Adeolu, is voicing his opinion about VeryDarkMan and the ongoing court case situations flying everywhere. Saga was asked about the whole ordeal during his appearance on Rubbin’ Minds and the comments he made have been met with mixed reactions. Here’s what the actor had to say.

First, when asked “What do you think of VDM (VeryDarkMan)?”, Saga responded saying:

SAGA ADEOLU: What do I think of VDM? I think he speaks his truth. However it comes, he speaks his truth. A lot of people look up to him, a lot of people listen to him. And then, he’s putting light in a lot of dark places, y’know. But then, his approach may not be my approach because I’m a gentle person. I don’t like violence, I don’t like stress. I just like to go easy. So that’s his approach, and I wish him the best. But I feel like it’s working for him. He has a voice. Everybody knows VDM. He could definitely monetize that if he likes, whether online since all these social media platforms are paying money these days, or he could start a business, or convert it whichever way he likes. Influence is value these days.

Then, when asked about how he feels about the court cases going on these days, Saga said:

SAGA ADEOLU: Omo, I’m sitting back and I’m enjoying the ride. Like, I open my social media and I’m just like wow; and I try my best not to be involved in none of that stuff because I like to keep my name as clean as possible. I feel like celebrities should really tread carefully in all your dealings. Like you have a responsibility to your fans. Y’know people look up to you, you don’t want to let them down. Whether I like it or not, I owe them a responsibility. So I won’t want my name to be dragged in a very funny way.

What do you think about what Saga had to say?
