A new video is making the rounds online that shows the moment former president of the federal republic of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo knocks 61yrs old former minister Oby Ezekwesili in the head.
The development was captured from Olusegun Obasanjo private 88th birthday dinner held on March 2nd, 2025 at The Delborough Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Notable figures at the event were Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Razaq Akanni Okoya, the founder of Eleganza Group, and his wife, Shade, former Imo State governor, Emeka Ihedioha, E-Money, Obi Cubana and Cubana Chief Priest, ex-President of Sierra Leone, Ernest Bai Koroma, his longtime political associate, former President Goodluck Jonathan, and his wife Patience, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; and former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and his wife Toyin Saraki among others.
Obasanjo knocks 61yrs old former minister Oby Ezekwesili in the head at his 88th birthday dinner
Former president Olusegun Obasanjo had earlier made headlines after being earlier reported by Intel Region over the way he shares cake with guests at his 88th birthday and that was just the begining.
In another video, drama unfolds after Fmr Minister, Oby Ezekweseli told Ex-President Obasanjo to say ‘thank you’ at his 88th birthday.
Oby Ezekweseli who was Minister of Solid Minerals under Obasanjo Adminisration was seen publicly telling Obasanjo to say “Thank you very much” to people.
However, the president later collected mic to do that and by extension knocked the former minister in the head. The knock by 88-year-old Obasanjo on the head of 61yrs old Oby Ezekwesili seems to be as a result of the fact that he did not found the former minister respectful enough while she was speaking to him.
