Not long ago, Bimbo Akintola exposed Nollywood earnings and asked actresses where their money is coming from. Now, it looks like fellow veteran actress Ngozi Nwosu is also asking those same questions.

During a new interview with Seun Oloketuyi, Ngozi Nwosu was asked about Bimbo Akintola’s comments regarding actresses, and asked to give her own thoughts on the lavish lifestyle that a lot of actresses show on social media.

Ngozi had a lot to say about it, and here’s what she said before also advicing new actresses. Here’s what Ngozi Nwosu said.

Seconding what Bimbo Akintola said, and also asking where actresses get their money from, Ngozi Nwosu said:

NGOZI NWOSU: About actresses throwing money up and down, down and up, we all know how far. Because me that I’m here, I know that I have worked and I am still working, and I know where I am. Did you see any Lamborghini packed in my compound? No, because I am not doing any shady business.

The interviewer then said “But don’t you think that maybe the younger ones have because you know now there is social media? There’s lot of other things you could—” to which Ngozi cut in, saying:

NGOZI NWOSU: I know I know I know, but that is not to the amount, Jesus, that is not to the amount. Ahh! Leave this thing. You are a media person, I’m a media person. So even if you are into other businesses, haba! We know how far with the income na.

Then asked “So what advice are you going to give a young actress?” Ngozi Nwosu said:

NGOZI NWOSU: For upcoming people, my advice is this: school first. Because these days, the young ones have learned one thing and I don’t welcome it: they think that all that glitters is gold. So, they want to cut corners. I have gone to schools where I went to give a motivational talk and when I leave, these students will ask for my phone number, and when I give it to them, what they ask me for is alarming. And I’m like “face your studies now, leave that thing.” Face your book! Get that certificate first. Ah ah! Get the certificate first. Then, you can diversify. You can do whatever you want to. I remember a lady who said the the the parents wanted her to be a lawyer and then she went to school became the lawyer. After the school, she threw it away and what she wanted was business and salon and that’s what she’s doing and she’s prospering. So for me my advice to the younger ones, please education is key first and foremost. And that is when you will not be cheated.
