Veteran Yoruba film actress, Mama Ereko has talked about some of the things that transpired between her and her husband before to their split. She also mentioned how her husband used to invite his girlfriends over to their home.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Talk2dunnis TV during an interview, she made it known that her husband brings one of his girlfriends to their house, saying that hep does have an affair with her even when she is at home
One of the most shocking aspects of her story was her husband’s blatant disrespect for their marriage. According to her, he frequently brought one of his girlfriends into their home without any regard for her presence. This behavior not only humiliated her but also left her feeling powerless and trapped in a situation she could not control.
In addition to bringing his mistress home, he would go to great lengths to create opportunities for their encounters. On several occasions, he would deliberately send her on errands, knowing that his lover was coming over. This pattern of deception and manipulation made her feel isolated, as she had no support or means to fight back against the betrayal.
Even when she was at home, her husband showed no restraint in his actions. He engaged in affairs with his mistress within the same house they shared, making it clear that he had no intention of hiding his infidelity. The emotional distress of witnessing such acts left her feeling helpless and deeply wounded.
Despite the pain and anger she felt, she found herself unable to challenge her husband. Fear played a significant role in keeping her silent, as she was too afraid to confront him about his actions. This fear stemmed from the dynamics of their relationship, where she had little power or say in what happened within her own home.
In her statement, she said, “I experienced a lot of problems when I was married to my husband. Sometimes my husband would send me on an errand because his girlfriend wanted to pay him a visit in our house.
My husband brings home his girlfriend, and they do have sex while I was at home with them. I usually get angry, but I cannot challenge my husband because I was always afraid of him.”
