Sikiru Ayinde Barrister son Barry Showkey in a latest interview disclosed to all and sundry that his late father had a total of 47 kids before he passed away.
Barry Showkey born Balogun Adewale Akanji who is based in the United States of America (USA) made this known while featuring as a guest on media personality Teju Babyface YouTube show.
Barry Showkey is the 7th child of the late Fuji legend Barrister. Recall that Barrister whose full name is Sikiru Ololade Ayinde Balogun was born on February 9th 1948 and by extension died on December 16th 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital, London, United Kingdom.
Shedding more light about his late father Barrister on the Teju Babyface interview, Barry Showkey stressed that no Nigerian artiste has ever gone for shows more than Barrister. He also noted that most Nigerians do not know that his father used to live in the USA to come and perform in Nigeria before passing away.
Speaking on the rivalry between his dad and Ayinla Kollington, Barry Showkey claimed that it is was absolutely nothing but just a marketing strategy that time as they were good friend. He noted that he used to be with his father Barrister and Kollington back them, noting that the act of berating each other was intentional and a way to market their song, a development that left Teju babyface in a shocked state.
Barry Showkey further disclosed that people still say that he is not a biological but adopted son of Barrister, a development he did not welcome as he noted that even a blind person knows he has huge resemblance with his late dad Baarister.
