The mother of Starlight, a signee of singer Portable, broke down in tears as she pleaded for her son’s release following his arrest by the Ogun State Police Command.
Recall that Portable and his associates allegedly attacked officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development during an enforcement operation in Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota. Nine of his accomplices were arrested on the spot.
It appeared that Starlight was among those arrested.
In a tearful video making the rounds online, Starlight’s mom vouched that her son can not beat any of the officials, stating that he is a calm and gentle one.
She, however, revealed that her son has been sick since the day he was arrested and would not play with his mates, pleading to Ogun state governor Dapo Abiodun for his immediate release.
According to the distraught mother, her son recently joined the ‘Zeh Nation’ group and she was in full support of his music career.
