Nollywood actress Mide Martins recently made history by winning the prestigious award at the Odunlade Adekola Film Production (OAFP) awards.
The award show, which took place in Abeokuta today, December 1st, was graced by A-list celebrities, and they dazzled in their stunning outfits on the red carpet. Among the actors are Femi Adebayo, Ibrahim Chatta, Biola Bayo, Sanusi Izihaq (Apa), Kemmity, Lateef Adedimeji, his wife Mo Bimpe and others.
The event was hosted by legendary actor Yemi Solade and actress Fathia Williams.
A highlight of the event was when Mide Martins was announced as the winner of the ‘Best Actress of the Year’ award as she was walked on stage to receive the award.
However, what truly captured the hearts of many was the heartwarming moment when Mide Martins knelt down to express her gratitude to her husband, Afeez Owo, to appreciate him for supporting her since she lost her mother, Funmi Martins, in 2002.
It is worth noting that Mide Martins and Afeez Owo for over a decade and they have two children.
