Popular Nigerian media personality, Emmanuel Philip, popularly known as Naijashimadun Baba Egbe has called out DJ Cuppy following her recent baptism after party.
DJ Cuppy, whose real name is Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, has taken a bold step as she went through baptism, dedicating her life to Christ. The billionaire’s heiress shared a video showing the whole baptism procedures.
After going through the Christianity rites, the singer threw a baptism after party attended by her father Femi Otedola, her mum Nana Otedola, her sister Teni Otedola, close friends and church members.
It seems the after party did not sit well with Naijashimadun as he took to his Instagram page to address it.
The media personality suggested that DJ Cuppy should stop flaunting her life journey, from being a Disc Jockey to becoming an academician and ultimately deciding to get baptized.
According to Naijashimadun, he found the idea of celebrating a religious ceremony like baptism with a party to be controversial. He however advised the 32-year-old singer to get married.
Calling her with her real name, he said, “Florence, have patience, you remembered the last time when you wanted to be a DJ, we supported you. You went ahead to bring a white fiancée to day, we accepted. Florence, you said you want to school, the one you used 10 year to learn, we accepted. Now, you decided to give your life to Christ, you still did after party. You can now bring husband home ooo”.
