Nigerians have once again showcased their creativity, turning the abusive word “Ganusi”by K1 De Ultimate into a viral sound, leaving many in fits of laughter.
Recall that Last week during his late mother’s Fidau prayer at his palatial mansion in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, K1 De Ultimate found himself at the center of controversy following the “Ganusi” remark he made towards the Alfas (Islamic clerics).
In a clip featuring Fuji icon K1 De Ultimate conversing with a man while preparing for his late mother’s 8-day Fidau prayer, he was heard using the phrase “Ganusi” in reference to some Islamic clerics.
The term quickly sparked online debates, with many interpreting it as K1 suggesting that some Alfas attend such events mainly for the food, indirectly labeling them as food mongers.
However, the matter further trends online when Sheikh Faruq Onikijipa tells him to apologize to Alfas, but the Fuji icon refused to do so noting that he did not feel guilty about the development.
However, the likes of DJ YK Mule, comedians, content creators, even Alfas have started creating content with the K1’s Ganusi statement as they turns it to another sound entirely.
DJ YK Mule hints at creating a beat with the “Ganusi” word from K1 De Ultimate. Watch the clip below;
