NBA president appoints Funke Akindele, Falz, Timi Agbaje and 6 others as members of the Entertainment Law Committee

President of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA), Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN has appointed popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele, Falz, Timi Agbaje and 6 others as members of the Entertainment Law Committee.

On Tuesday, February 4th 2025, the NBA president in an official statement announces the appointment and composition of committees of the Nigerian Bar Association.

As the NBA president Mazi Afam Osigwe listed chairman and members for other committees, he went on to list lawyers in the Entertainment forum as well.

Note that rapper Falz also known as Folarin Falana graduated from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom with an LLB honors degree in Law. His father is Femi Falana, a well-known human rights lawyer and activist. His mother is Funmi Falana.

He was called to the bar in 2012 after graduating from the Nigerian Law School in Abuja. Falz completed his basic and secondary school education at St. Leo’s Catholic Primary School, Ikeja and Olashore International School, Osun State respectively

Funke Akindele is an actress and producer, she obtained an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mass Communication from the former Ogun State Polytechnic, now known as Moshood Abiola Polytechnic. She earned a Law degree from the University of Lagos.

Born on February 14th, Oluwatimileyin Agbaje is a multi-talented professional—an actor, comedian, influencer, entrepreneur, corporate event MC, business developer, and digital marketer.

He is a first-class Law graduate from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and also earned a double first-class degree from the Nigerian Law School, LL.B (Hons) B.L. (First Class).

Bobo Ajudua’s legal journey began at the prestigious University of Essex in 2011, followed by the Nigerian Law School in 2012, where he refined his expertise. He started his career at the Nigerian Football Federation in Abuja. He used to be the lawyer of popular Nigerian singer Davido for a long period of time.
