Controversial social media activist Martins Otse Vincent, popularly known as VeryDarkMan has claimed that Nigerian media personality Nedu Wazobia was sacked from the Honest Bunch podcast rather than resigning voluntarily.

Recall that Nedu recently released a press statement where he announced his exit from the popular online podcast for his own peace of mind. The statement comes after VeryDarkMan alleged that he (Nedu) sleeps with women in exchange for featuring them on the podcast.

In a video making the rounds online, Verydarkman alleged that contrary to Nedu’s earlier statements, he did not willingly step down from his role as a co-host on the Honest Bunch podcast. Instead, he was allegedly removed by the show’s management to address the allegations against him.

He revealed this during a conversation with his friend, where he mocked the media personality of saying that he stepped down from the podcast.

In his words, “They don sack Nedu. He no quit, they sack am.”

Shortly after, the Glitch Africa studios, who created the honest bunch podcast, released a statement, revealing that Nedu was advised to step down temporarily to focus on the ongoing saga with Verydarkman.

The document reads, “Announcement Nedu Temporarily Steps Down from The Honest Bunch Podcast. Recently, there have been discussions and allegations involving our co-host, Nedu. While these matters remain personal, we recognize the importance of accountability and allowing individuals the space to address such issues properly.”

“In light of this, THE HONEST BUNCH PODCAST and NEDU have decided that he takes a temporary step back from the podcast to focus on resolving these matters. This decision was made in mutual agreement and with the best interests of all parties in mind. We fully support him during this time and look forward to his retum in due course.”

“As always, The Honest Bunch Podcast remains committed to delivering unfiltered, thought-provoking conversations.
We appreciate the continued support from our listeners and assure you of more exciting content in the weeks ahead.
Thank you for being part of our journey.”
