Award-winning singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake has launched his own cannabis (Igbaux) brand named ‘Giran Energy 5K’ in California, USA, sparking debates and discussions online.

The ‘Joha’ Crooner ventured into the business world as he shared the photos of his new Igbaux brand via his Instagram story.

Asake will become the second Nigerian celebrity to venture into the cannabis business, following in the footsteps of Burna Boy, who launched his ‘Brkfst’ cannabis brand in 2022.

Asake started the year surrounded by controversy, as his recent appearance sparked widespread reactions on social media. While many admired his new facial tattoos, others speculated that the singer might be going through a tough time.

The singer, who has officially left YBNL records owned by rapper Olamide, also gifted himself a brand new Tesla in celebration of his 30th birthday.
